My trip to Ohio

Mommy and I went to Ohio to visit Mommy's friends from college. One of Mommy's friends has a three year old daughter named Charlotte so it was perfect. I got to meet Charlotte and we played all weekend. We sat together for dinner and held hands as we walked to the park.

We had a tea party. Mommy's friend, Megan, took me for a ride in the wagon. Charlotte and I went to Totter's Otterville (like a Children's Museum) in Kentucky. We tried on tutus and danced at the ballet bars. Then, we got back to Charlotte's house and worked out to Richard Simmon's Sweating to the Oldies. Whew - it was a good workout. That Richard Simmons knows what he's doing!

The Children's Museum with Mimi, Papa and Ellie

My mimi and papa took me and my cousin, Ellie, to the Children's Museum in New Braunfels. We had so much fun playing! We spent a lot of time shopping for groceries.

We also drove our Papa around in the ambulance.

I love playing with my cousin, Ellie. I talk about her all of the time.

Katie's fun birthday party

My cousin Katie turned 9 and had the best birthday party. There was a spinning thing that everyone took turns in. I waited my turn and waited and kept getting passed over! Apparently, I was not tall enough to do it. So, when it was Mommy's turn, I got to at least sit on it and get close. I can't wait until I am big enough to spin like everyone else! Here is a picture of Katie spinning and of me and Mommy before Mommy's turn.

I like to play with the big kids so tried to play this other game, too. Luckily, the big kids were so nice, they let me play, too.

When it was time for a break, I ate my first icy pop. Yummy! Then, I had two more!

Then it was time for cake and I was ready!

First lollipop and story time at the library

I ate my first lollipop and it was yummy! Mommy let me try another one a few days later though and I didn't like it. I think that I only like red ones!

Mimi and Papa took me to story time at the New Braunfels library. We listened to a story and then did a craft. I also checked out some books that Mommy and I read at home.

Ballerinas

We went to watch my cousin Ellie's dance recital. She was such an amazing dancer!! I watched everything she did and afterwards, I tried to do it myself. I was dressed for the part, too! I can't wait until I can take dance class. But until then, I will just learn from my big cousin, Ellie!

Just Like Daddy

This is me in a sweatshirt that was my daddy's when he was little. It says: "Eric the Great"

I know that Daddy's name is Eric. Sometimes I call him, "Daddy-Eric" so I have it covered and he'll respond to me. Don't I look cute in his sweatshirt?

This is me playing with my new water and sand table on the deck - so much fun!

Weekend activities

Mommy had to play golf for work so we all went to the driving range to practice. My daddy's grandfather made him special clubs by cutting adult clubs down smaller so I was able to use them. I still like to chase all of the balls that are hit so I got hot and sweaty really quickly!

I received a bubble blowing mower for my birthday. I went out one morning before church, still in my pajamas, to mow the lawn. You have to get up early to get all of the work done!

I went to a birthday party with a petting zoo. We have a lot of bunnies in our yard at home and I am always talking about wanting to touch them. When it came down to it, I would only touch the bunny if someone else was already holding it.

Easter

I know that I am a little late in posting Easter pictures, but Mommy reminded me that I hadn't posted them yet. I had such a fun Easter with my family that I didn't want to leave it out! I went to church with everyone in my family - all of my aunts, uncles, cousins, both of my mimis and papas and my mommy and daddy.

After church, we went to my aunt and uncle's house in San Antonio and had an Easter egg hunt.

After the egg hunt, we went swimming in my aunt and uncle's pool.

Then we played games for the rest of the afternoon.

I had so much fun that I gave my Aunt Kim a big good-bye hug when we left!
