HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

I turned 1 this week! I am a big girl now!! I had a super fun party on Saturday at Landa Park. We fed the duckies, had a pinata, and played with bubbles.

Then, on my actual birthday, my grandparents came over and we had cake and ice cream.

I found out that I don't like cake. At my party, Mommy and Daddy tried to get to me to try a cupcake and I didn't want to. On my actual birthday, Mommy and Daddy gave me cake and I didn't want to try it then either!

At my party, I did find a new food I like...goldfish! However, Mommy says it's junk food and only lets me have a few at a time. Good thing Grandpa doesn't have that rule...I can get more out of him :)

I got so many fun toys for my birthday!! I am still working on opening my presents. I have a bunch of new big toys that fill up our house! One of my presents was a Princess Cozy Coupe. I had to help Daddy put it together...see me showing him how to put the car together in the pictures below.

Yardwork

I have added yardwork to my chores. I helped Daddy plant some flowers. Note in the picture below that I keep my feet up as I don't like the funny feeling grass to touch my feet.

Then I picked some of the flowers and put them in the trunk of my "car."

Then I had to help water the flowers...chores, chores...

But then I had some time to play!

Easter

I spent Easter with all of my grandparents, all of my aunts and uncles, all of my cousins, and Mommy and Daddy. We all went to church in Austin and then went back to my aunt and uncle's house for brunch and, of course, an Easter egg hunt!

Then, my cousin, Ellie, and I put on a concert!

Canyon Lake Cruisin'

I went on Daddy's boat for the first time. I loved every minute. I think that I'm ready to wakeboard next time!

More Flags, More Fun!

I went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas for the first time! Mommy was so surprised that there were so many rides for me to go on. The only thing that I had to do to be able to ride the rides was to show them I could walk three steps. Since I can walk up to six steps on my own, it was no problem!

All of my cousins and my mommy's cousin from Indiana and her two kids came, too!

I had so much fun I was ready for a nap!
